Workshop for teachers in Lviv

The Introductory Workshop on Youth Multimedia in Action (YUMiA) Programme was held at the Bibliomist Training Centre  in Lviv (Ukraine) on October 21, 2010. It was attended by 13 teachers and advisers to school newspapers and student journalistic circles.

Organised by the Creativity Centre for Children and Youth of Galicia, the workshop focused on latest communication methods and technologies, and ways of promoting the growth of civic-minded journalism.

During the session, school newspaper representatives discussed challenges youth media face in the Ukraine as well as successful practices.
