Aleksandra Zieleniewska
Foundation Board President
In 1983–1986 she was a journalist and lector in the clandestine Radio „ Solidarność Małopolska”, she wrote also articles to clandestine newspapers. In 1989, with Stanisław Tyczyński, co-organized radio election studio for the “Komitet Obywatelski Solidarność” in Cracow. In year 1990, for a short period, was a journalist of the Polish Radio Cracow and in the same year, as a founding member of the “Krakowska Fundacja Komunikacji Społecznej „TViR”” , organized RMF radio. It was in her apartment, by the legendary “stove” , that took place the first organizational meetings, at which the vision of the new station was forming. In 1990–1991 she was a journalist and presenter in radio RMF. 25th August 1990 at 6:00 am she read the first morning news service of the Radio Małopolska Fun. In 1991-1993 worked as a journalist in the polish section of BBC Word Service in London.
After returning in 1993-1994 she managed a news agency SIS-Serwis Sp. z o.o., and in 1995 she was chief of the economics office in Radio dla Ciebie. Co-author of the tv report about the pipeline from Yamal to Wester Europe.
From 1996 till mid 2009 was a consultant and partner in CEC Government Relations, and also a member of the board of the polish part of this international agency dealing with Public Affairs. She also was a special correspondent for the Irish information agency Emerging Markets Data. Aleksandra Zieleniewska performed many other functions, in years 2002-2006 was a member of supervisory board BROKER FM S.A., continued operating in KFKS.
At present Aleksandra Zieleniewska continues her activity in the New Media Foundation. As chair of this foundation she actively supports the Youth Multimedia Campaign (MAM) project. It promotes and develops independent and consciously made decisions about creating media by young people.
Robert Kozak
Council Member of the New Media Foundation
Is a man with a lot of experiences and high versatility. He began his career as a scientist at the Dep. Of Chemistry UW, but he abandoned scientific work because he wanted to work with people. Most of his working life he spent in medias as a journalist and manager. He was a prtner and a board member in the Information Agency SIS. As a reporter for the western media he covered the Round Table Talks. Spent 15 years in BBC, where started as a correspondent, later to create and run the branch of BBC in Poland. He took part in creating TOK FM radio. He educated a whole generation o journalists, many of which now function as managers in the media. Worked in TVP, where he directed the biggest in Poland news program which is “Wiadomości”. He also directed “Teleespress” and was the chairman of the Committee of journalistic standards on TVP.
For several years, Robert Kozak is a lecturebr in the National School of Film, Television and Theatre in Łódź in the Dep. of Journalism. He also trains journalists and media managers. He is coaching and advising high level managers on effective leadership, communication, change management and building strategies. He was an Executive Director in one of the world’s leading headhunting company, from the “Top Five”, where he developed the FMCG practice and searched for board members for international companies operating in Central and Eastern Europe.
He is the Chairman of the Board and a partner in Brian Tracy International, he’s responsible for strategy and development, and also programs concerning leadership and coaching.
Michał Masłowski
Council Secretary of the New Media Foundation
Trained in the art of journalism at Warsaw University, got a degree in public relations and advertising and marketing at the School of Communication and Social Media, also has an MBA from the School of Management and Thames Valley University in London.
Worked as a journalist in polish Radio One, TVP2, „ŻYCIE Warszawy”, „Der Spiegel” and the magazine „Sukces”. His skills include public relations/public affairs, media relations, marketing and e-marketing, b2b and b2c, advertising, promotion, social communication, electronic communication/new media.
He worked, among others, as an account manager in Burson-Marsteller agency, development director in advertising agency JWT Parintex, marketing managing director in Telekomunikacji Polskiej SA, CEO of PR agency / public affairs in Alaris Communications Sp. Ltd., director of marketing and public relations in C-Line. For 7 years running his own business dealing with project management, communication and marketing. In addition, a specialist in planning and implementing sales and image strategies, designing and implementing integrated communication, activating sales process, the creation of well-motivated teams and managing them. He also dealt with media campaigns, press conferences, and press advocacy.
At present he is the Council Secretary of the New Media Foundation, owner of the MarketingWorkshop agency and member of the Board in “Zespół Szkół Ogólnokształcących STO” in Warsaw.
His hobbies are model building (scale models and remote controlled helicopters). He is the editor of the column "Śmigłowce" (Helicopters) in the magazine "RC Przegląd Modelarski" and the administrator and owner of the web portal concerning remote controlled helicopters www.epheli.pl and a blog www.modelbuilding.pl.
Grzegorz Mierzejewski
Council Member of the New Media Foundation
Graduated the faculty of electronics at Warsaw University of Technology. Grzegorz is a specialist of IT industry. His contact with mass media is based on being a media recipient. Hobbies: motocycling and sailing.
