Born in Kalinkowicze in the eastern part of Belarus. By education - a philologist, after graduation she worked briefly in national radio in Minsk (where she met many cool people and the meaning of the word censorship.) Then, from the beginning to closure –in the only private Belarusian spoken radio in Minsk –Radio 101,2, which was closed by the authorities in 1996.

Since 1997 she lives in Poland, where founded and is the chairman of the Association of Belarusian Culture Institute – an organization promoting Belarusian culture and associating Belarusians of Warsaw. She also worked as the editor of Radio Polonia in the Belarusian office. In 2006-2008 she co-founded the Europien Radio for Belarus – internet radio and a informative-musical portal. She was the Editor in chief in that project.

Interested in ethical subjects and education of societies in Eastern Europe, modern culture in those regions, and also psychology.  Likes to travel, loves meeting people, associating environments with each other and discovering new ideas for life. Likes Okudzhava, Nohavica and Osiecka.

Family: husband Wojtek, daughters Anna and Agata, two grandmothers, dog Fajka and cat Nuta.
